Trego Roofing is a roofing contractor based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, serving homeowners across the Cedar Rapids Corridor and Eastern Iowa. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy mean Trego Roofing.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us when you use this site:
- Request a Call form. When you submit the form on this site, we collect your name, phone number, property address, and any notes you include about your roof.
- Instant Roof Quote tool. This site includes an instant quote tool provided by a third-party vendor, Roofle. When you use it, the property address and any other details you enter are submitted to Roofle to generate a satellite-based estimate. See "Third-Party Services" below for more on how that works.
- Information you give us by phone. If you call us, we collect whatever information you choose to share to schedule an inspection or discuss your roof.
We do not use cookies, analytics software, or advertising trackers on this site as of the effective date above. If that changes, we'll update this policy to reflect it.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your request, call you back, and schedule inspections, quotes, or repairs.
- Prepare estimates, bids, and insurance documentation you've asked for.
- Keep basic business records of our communications with you.
We do not use your information for anything beyond responding to you and providing the roofing services you've requested.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who help us operate this site. Our Request a Call form is processed and hosted through Netlify, our website hosting provider. Our instant quote tool is provided by Roofle. Both only receive the information you submit through their respective tools, and use it to provide that specific function.
- As required by law. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.
Third-Party Services
This site uses a small number of third-party tools to function:
- Roofle (RoofQuote PRO). Our instant quote tool. When you use it, your input is sent to and processed by Roofle under its own privacy practices, not ours. We recommend reviewing Roofle's privacy policy if you have questions about how it handles your information.
- Netlify. Our website host and form processor. Submissions to our Request a Call form pass through Netlify's infrastructure to reach us.
- Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google's font service, which may receive your device's IP address as part of loading the font files, the same as any embedded web font.
We don't control these third parties' own data practices and encourage you to review their privacy policies directly if you have questions.
Data Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, complete any work you've requested, and maintain reasonable business records afterward. If you'd like us to delete information we have on file, contact us using the information below.
Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time by calling us at the number below. If you no longer want to be contacted, let us know and we'll honor that request.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for adult homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this site, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
